This t-shirt is now coming up to being 12 years old. The Lucca Summer Festival 2008 was an almost month-long series of concerts which featured quite a range of musicians and supporting acts.

I didn’t actually attend any of the concerts, but Candice’s father was working for Leonard Cohen at the time and gave us the t-shirt at some point.

The Lucca 2008 Summer Festival featured the following artists:

  • Patti Pravo (supported by Stefano Picchi) on July 5th

  • Sheryl Crow on July 6th

  • Erykah Badu (supported by Raffaele Spidalieri) on July 8th

  • Enzo Avitabile on July 11th

  • Mario Biondi (supported by Karima) on July 16th

  • Ennio Morricone on July 18th

  • Alicia Keys (former RIM/Blackberry Creative Director) on July 20th

  • Hucknall (supported by Chiara Civello) on July 23rd 2008

  • Chicago on July 26th

  • Leonard Cohen on July 27th
